Growth module
Social media for practices
Quoted after a short call Monthly. CAD, before tax.
A practice does not need to be clever on social media. It needs to be present, accurate and current: hours, closures, what is in stock, which services exist, who the team is.
In short
Posts for Google Business Profile, Instagram and Facebook, drafted with AI from your own services and hours, reviewed against your College's advertising standard, and approved by you before they go out.
We take the facts that already live on your site (services, hours, staff, notices, availability) and turn them into a monthly calendar of posts for Google Business Profile, Instagram and Facebook. AI drafts the words and lays out the graphics in your brand. A pharmacist checks every post against the advertising standard for your profession and province, and you approve the month in one sitting.
The same calendar carries the things that change: a vaccine clinic, a holiday closure, a new service. When your staff panel changes your hours, the post changes with it.
What this is not: trend chasing, patient stories, before and after pictures, or anything that promotes a prescription drug beyond its name, price and quantity. Those are the posts that bring a College letter, and we do not write them.
What you get
- A monthly calendar of posts, drafted from your own site data and approved by you before anything is published
- Google Business Profile posts, which also feed what Google shows about your practice
- Instagram and Facebook posts in your brand, with graphics made from your design system
- A pharmacist's check of every post against the applicable College advertising standard, recorded in your compliance file
- Replies to comments drafted for you to approve; nothing clinical is answered in public
- One paragraph in the monthly Growth report: what was posted, what was seen, what it led to
What the AI does, and what a person does
How we use AI across these modules: it drafts, schedules, monitors and reports. It does not decide what a patient sees. Every post, reply, email, ad and page is approved by a person before it goes out, and the clinical and regulatory check is done by a pharmacist, not by a model. AI output can be wrong; the approval step exists because of that.
| AI does | A person does |
|---|---|
| Drafts the month's posts from your site data and the practice calendar. | You approve or edit the month in one review; a pharmacist checks each post against the College standard. |
| Lays out graphics in your brand and sizes them for each platform. | A designer checks the first month's set and anything new. |
| Schedules publication and watches for comments and questions. | A person answers; anything that looks clinical is moved to the phone or the pharmacy. |
The rules this runs under
Social media posts are advertising. Each College's advertising standard applies to a post exactly as it applies to a web page: accuracy, no superlatives, no guarantees, and in most provinces no patient testimonials. We check the current version of your standard before the first month.
A prescription drug may be advertised to the public only by name, price and quantity (Food and Drug Regulations, C.01.044). Posts about weight management, skin, sexual health or smoking cessation are where this is most often broken, so those posts describe the service and the visit, not the drug.
No patient appears in a post without written consent, and no post reveals that a named person is a patient. Photos are of your premises and your team.
What it does not do
- It does not run paid promotion of posts; that is the paid advertising module, billed to your own ad account.
- It does not answer clinical questions in public comments.
- It does not post patient testimonials, before and after images, or prescription drug promotion, whatever the platform allows.
- TikTok and other platforms are added only when a practice asks and the College standard has been checked for that format.
What you provide
- Access to your Google Business Profile, Instagram and Facebook pages
- Approval of each month's calendar within five business days
- Photos of your premises and team, or a half day shoot coordinated at cost
What it costs
Quoted after a short call
Prices for these modules are not published yet. Each is quoted after a short call, in Canadian dollars before tax, and written into the proposal before any work starts.

Questions about social media for practices
Can you write the posts and publish them without us?
We can draft and schedule, but a person at the practice approves each month before it is published. That approval is what keeps the posts yours and keeps the College record clean. It takes about twenty minutes a month.
Can a post say we are the best pharmacy in town?
No. Superlatives and comparative claims are restricted by every College advertising standard we work with. A post can say what you do, for whom, where, and when, and it can show your team and your premises.
Which platforms?
Google Business Profile first, because it is what Google shows next to your name. Then Instagram and Facebook. Others on request, once the College standard has been checked against that format.
