The monthly runbook

Questions
Why the monthly fee?
Because a site that is not maintained is a liability within a year: security, broken forms, outdated hours, a privacy policy that no longer matches the law. Care keeps it safe. Growth makes it earn.
Is there a minimum term?
No. Care is free for the first three months after a build, with unlimited revisions in that period, then continues month to month at $150, $200 or $250 depending on the size of the site. Cancel by email before your next billing date and that is your last month, with no notice period and no fee. On a build you own your domain, content, code and accounts from day one, so ending Care ends the maintenance, not your ownership, and you leave with a documented handover within ten business days.
Do you administer our email once it is set up?
Where we set the account up, yes, and it is billed with the mailboxes rather than out of your Care hours. That means a mailbox opened when you hire, access removed the day someone leaves with their mail preserved, multi factor authentication kept on, a shared address added or retired as the practice changes, and the domain records checked again at the quarterly review. It does not mean reading your mail: administration is accounts, records and access, not correspondence. If your email sits somewhere we did not set up, we will tell you what moving it would involve before you commit to anything.
What counts as a change, and what costs extra?
A change is anything on a page that already exists: wording, images, hours, staff, services, prices, a notice. Those are included, as many as you need, with a two business day response. A new page is an add on at a fixed price: $350 for a service page, $150 for a practitioner profile, $500 for a location page. Nothing is billed by the hour, and nothing is added to an invoice without a price you have seen first.
